Quick Start

1. Download the Extension

2. Install the Extension

For Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox and go to:
    about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
    (Paste this into the address bar and press Enter)
  2. Click “Load Temporary Add-on…”
  3. Select the downloaded ZIP file

For Chrome:

Step 1: Extract the ZIP File

  1. Locate the ZIP file on your computer (e.g., in Downloads)
  2. Extract the contents to a folder:
    • Windows: Right-click the ZIP file → Extract All → Choose destination folder
    • Mac: Double-click the ZIP file (auto-extracts)
    • Linux: Use:
      unzip rabbithole.zip -d rabbithole
⚠️ Important:
  • Keep the extracted folder in a permanent location
  • Do not delete the folder after installation
  • Folder must contain extension files (manifest.json)

Step 2: Enable Chrome Developer Mode

  1. Open Chrome and go to:
    chrome://extensions
    (Paste into address bar and press Enter)
  2. Toggle Developer Mode (top-right corner) to ON

Step 3: Load the Unpacked Extension

  1. Click the Load unpacked button (top-left)
  2. Navigate to and select the extracted folder
  3. The extension will install and appear in your Chrome toolbar

Step 4: Verify Installation

  1. Check Chrome toolbar (top-right) for the extension’s icon
  2. Return to:
    chrome://extensions
    to confirm extension is listed and enabled

3. Config the Extension

  1. Right-click the extension icon in your browser toolbar.
  2. Click “Options” from the menu that appears.
  3. In the settings page, enable or adjust features
