1. Download the Extension
2. Install the Extension
For Firefox:
- Open Firefox and go to:
(Paste this into the address bar and press Enter)about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
- Click “Load Temporary Add-on…”
- Select the downloaded ZIP file
For Chrome:
Step 1: Extract the ZIP File
- Locate the ZIP file on your computer (e.g., in Downloads)
- Extract the contents to a folder:
- Windows: Right-click the ZIP file → Extract All → Choose destination folder
- Mac: Double-click the ZIP file (auto-extracts)
- Linux: Use:
unzip rabbithole.zip -d rabbithole
⚠️ Important:
- Keep the extracted folder in a permanent location
- Do not delete the folder after installation
- Folder must contain extension files (manifest.json)
Step 2: Enable Chrome Developer Mode
- Open Chrome and go to:
(Paste into address bar and press Enter)chrome://extensions
- Toggle Developer Mode (top-right corner) to ON
Step 3: Load the Unpacked Extension
- Click the Load unpacked button (top-left)
- Navigate to and select the extracted folder
- The extension will install and appear in your Chrome toolbar
Step 4: Verify Installation
- Check Chrome toolbar (top-right) for the extension’s icon
- Return to:
to confirm extension is listed and enabledchrome://extensions
3. Config the Extension
- Right-click the extension icon in your browser toolbar.
- Click “Options” from the menu that appears.
- In the settings page, enable or adjust features
